Overview

Tarmac Driveways in Sunderland you can rely on

We install tarmac driveways for homes and businesses across Sunderland and throughout Tyne & Wear, including Roker, Seaburn, Fulwell, Hendon, Washington. Every job is carried out to the same standard, with a fixed written price before we start.

Tarmac is a practical, hard-wearing surface that works well on larger driveways and longer runs. It is quicker to lay than block paving and costs less per square metre, while still standing up to daily vehicle use. Laid hot onto a compacted base and rolled properly, a tarmac driveway gives you a clean, solid finish that is ready to use within a day.

Does tarmac come in colours?

Standard tarmac is black, but a red tint and a decorative tar-and-chip finish are both options. Ask us for samples.

How long does a tarmac driveway last?

Laid on a proper base and rolled well, a tarmac driveway stands up to many years of daily use. Keeping the edges supported helps it go the distance.

Can you edge the tarmac with block?

Yes. A block or kerb edge gives the tarmac a defined boundary and a neat finish, and it helps hold the edges firm. We include it wherever you want it.
